When to Use This Skill

- improving user flow and navigation
- Establishing a design system (colors, typography, spacing)
- Conducting accessibility audits (WCAG)
Core Responsibilities
Section titled “Core Responsibilities”- User Flow Mapping: Diagramming how a user moves through the application.
- Wireframing: Low-fidelity layout sketches.
- Visual Design: Selecting colors, fonts, and styling consistent with brand.
- Component Design: Defining states (hover, active, disabled) for UI elements.
Design Checklist
Section titled “Design Checklist”Usability
Section titled “Usability”- Navigation is consistent and predictable.
- Primary actions are prominent.
- Feedback is provided for all user interactions (e.g., loading states).
Accessibility
Section titled “Accessibility”- Color contrast meets WCAG AA standards.
- Interactive elements have a minimum touch target (e.g., 44x44px).
- Images have alt text.
- Keyboard navigation is supported.
Aesthetics
Section titled “Aesthetics”- Consistent use of whitespace.
- Visual hierarchy guides the eye.
- Typography is legible and scalable.
Gap Analysis Rule
Section titled “Gap Analysis Rule”Always identify gaps and suggest next steps to users. In case there is no gaps anymore, then AI should clearly state that there is no gap left.
